McDonald’s UAE leads with the McArabia Grilled Chicken, two grilled chicken patties with garlic sauce, lettuce, tomato and onion folded in Arabic bread instead of a bun. It’s the regional signature, and nothing else on the board comes in that bread. Behind it the chicken list runs deep: a Grand Chicken and a Grand Chicken Spicy at the top, a Chicken Mac that rebuilds the Big Mac on two chicken patties, three McCrispys and two McChickens. The menu is halal and says so on item after item (100% pure halal beef, halal chicken sausage), with chicken roll in the Egg McMuffin where the US puts Canadian bacon, and no pork or bacon anywhere. The Big Tasty, with three slices of emmental, is the beef flagship. McDonald’s UAE publishes no prices online, but it does publish a calorie count and a serving weight for every item, and those figures are quoted in the tables below. Checked September 14, 2026.
This is a halal board, like Malaysia and Singapore, and it shares their habit of putting chicken where other markets put pork. Two things set it apart. The first is the top of the menu: neither of those pages lists a sandwich folded in Arabic bread, and neither has a Grand Chicken range or a Chicken Mac. The second is the nutrition panel. McDonald’s UAE publishes a calorie count and a serving weight for everything it sells, from the Big Tasty (793 kcal) down to the pineapple stick (34 kcal), which most of the markets on this site don’t do. Where the Thailand and Vietnam pages carry prices, this one carries calories, because the UAE site publishes the one and not the other. The beef list is the global one from the US menu with the Big Tasty on top of it, and the Grand Chicken line is shared with South Africa. For the rest of the chain’s local items, see McDonald’s around the world.
Checked against McDonald’s UAE’s own full menu; images © McDonald’s UAE. Calorie and serving-weight figures are the ones published in the nutrition data behind each product page on that site, pulled on September 14, 2026.
Checked September 14, 2026. McDonald’s UAE doesn’t publish prices on its website. Product pages carry a photo, a nutrition panel and, on most items, a short description, with no dirham figure attached, so you’ll see the number on the in-store boards or in the McDonald’s app. Where the site publishes no description at all (the Grand Chicken, all three McCrispys, the chicken tenders and wings, the banana, the Quarter Pounder Deluxe and a few of the McCafé pastries), this page names what’s listed without guessing at what’s in it.
The McArabia, grilled chicken in Arabic bread
The McArabia Grilled Chicken is the sandwich this menu is built around, and the site describes it as two halal grilled chicken patties with lettuce, tomatoes, onions and flavourful garlic sauce held together by Arabic bread. The ingredient carousel on its product page lists Arabic bread first, then grilled chicken patties, garlic mayonnaise, lettuce, slivered onion and tomato. The bread is the whole point. Every burger on the board sits on a bun and the breakfast wraps use a tortilla, so this is the one order that comes folded.
It’s treated as a core item rather than a regional extra. The McArabia Chicken has its own Extra Value Meal, listed with the Big Mac, Big Tasty and Quarter Pounder meals, and the nutrition line puts it at 562 kcal for a 258 g serving, within two calories of a Big Mac (564 kcal) at a heavier weight. If you’re in the UAE for a week and order one thing off this list, make it this.

Halal on every line, and chicken roll in the Egg McMuffin
McDonald’s UAE writes halal into the product copy itself. The Big Mac is two 100% pure halal beef patties. The Quarter Pounder is a quarter pound of 100% pure halal beef. The McChicken is halal crispy chicken, the nuggets are halal Chicken McNuggets, and the breakfast sausage is savoury hot halal sausage every time it comes up. There is no pork and no bacon anywhere on the board, and the sausage is always chicken: the site names the Sausage McMuffin as a Chicken Sausage McMuffin, and the Egg N’ Sausage Wrap spells out halal chicken sausage.
The Egg McMuffin is where you notice it. In the US it’s built on Canadian bacon; here the description reads a freshly cracked Grade A egg on a toasted English muffin topped with real butter, chicken roll and melty American cheese. Chicken roll is the swap, and it puts the UAE in the same family as Malaysia and Singapore, where the same sandwich uses chicken ham. The rest of the breakfast list is the familiar one: a Big Breakfast with scrambled eggs and hash browns, hotcakes in a stack of three, a Chicken Muffin, and two tortilla wraps, one with chicken sausage and one with hash browns and chicken.

Grand Chicken, Chicken Mac and a chicken list twice the size of the beef one
Count the chicken-and-sandwiches page and the ratio is plain: thirteen chicken items (the McArabia, two Grand Chickens, the Chicken Mac, three McCrispys, two McChickens, a Chickenburger, nuggets, tenders and wings) against seven beef burgers. The top of that list is the Grand Chicken Range, which is the site’s own name for the pair. The Grand Chicken is listed at 765 kcal for a 321 g serving and the Grand Chicken Spicy at 728 kcal for 318 g, which makes them the two heaviest chicken sandwiches on the board and the second and third heaviest items on the whole menu, behind the Big Tasty. McDonald’s UAE publishes no description for the Grand Chicken, and for the Spicy it offers one line, that it’s definitely worth talking about. So the numbers are what you have to go on: a big chicken sandwich, plain or spicy, with an Extra Value Meal for each.
The Chicken Mac is the more interesting build. The site describes it as two breaded halal chicken patties, cheese, lettuce, creamy mayo and a bun in the middle, which is a Big Mac with the beef swapped out, and it lands at 558 kcal to the Big Mac’s 564. Below those, the McCrispy comes plain, Deluxe and Spicy, none of them with a published description, the McChicken comes plain and Spicy, and the smaller Chickenburger (lettuce and mayo on a breaded patty, 286 kcal) is the one the Everyday Delights value category is built on, alongside a Cheeseburger Meal. Nuggets come 4, 6 or 9 pieces, the tenders are pictured as a 3-piece, and the McWings are a 4-piece.

Calories on every item, in place of prices
Most of the McDonald’s menus on this site come with prices or with nothing; the UAE comes with calories. There’s no price on any product page, but every one of them carries a calorie count and a serving weight in grams, down to the espresso (2 kcal, 30 g) and the black tea (0 kcal). So the third column in the tables here is calories where the Thailand page has baht, quoted as the site publishes them. A few reference points: the Big Tasty is the top of the board at 793 kcal, the Big Mac sits at 564, the McArabia at 562, and the Vanilla Frappe at McCafé (668 kcal) carries more calories than any burger except the Big Tasty, the two Grand Chickens and the McCrispy Deluxe.
A couple of footnotes travel with the figures. The weights are the serving sizes as published, and the Quarter Pounder page adds its own footnote giving the patty weight before cooking as at least 110 g. And the macarons figure (390 kcal) is listed per box rather than per piece.
Big Tasty, three slices of emmental
The beef list is short and mostly global: Big Mac, Quarter Pounder with Cheese (plus a Deluxe listed without a description), Double Cheeseburger, Cheeseburger, and a plain hamburger the menu calls a Beef Burger. The Big Tasty is the exception, and it sits above the Quarter Pounder as the flagship. The site describes a big halal beef patty smothered in Big Tasty sauce and three slices of emmental cheese, dressed with two slices of tomato, crispy shredded lettuce and slivered onions, and the nutrition line gives 793 kcal for a 351 g serving, the highest count on the entire menu, McCafé included.
The Filet-O-Fish and the Veggie Deluxe sit with the burgers. The Filet-O-Fish description says wild-caught fish sourced from sustainable fisheries, with American cheese and tartar sauce in a steamed bun, 337 kcal. The Veggie Deluxe is the vegetarian option, and the site’s entire copy for it is that it’s so good you won’t believe it’s vegetarian, with no word on what the patty is made from (454 kcal, 215 g). Extra Value Meals exist for every burger on this list except the Cheeseburger, Double Cheeseburger and Beef Burger; the Cheeseburger Meal lives in Everyday Delights instead.

Pineapple sticks and bananas beside the fries
The sides list has fruit on it as a standing item, and the Happy Meal is built around that. The site describes the pineapple stick as the natural treat to accompany a kid’s Happy Meal, and every Happy Meal combination is listed with a choice of side, pineapple stick, banana or fries, paired with a Beef Burger, a Cheeseburger, a Chickenburger or McNuggets. Both fruits are sold on their own too. The pineapple stick is 34 kcal for a 60 g serving, the lightest food on the board, and the banana is a whole banana at 104 kcal.
Fries are made from Russet Burbank and Shepody potatoes, the site says, with zero grams of trans fat per serving, and come small, regular, medium and large; the small is listed at 250 kcal for 80 g. A Chicken Caesar Salad is listed with the sides but is the one item on the menu with neither a description nor nutrition published, so there’s nothing to quote for it.

McCafé’s pastry case: macarons, red velvet and McPops
McCafé here runs a full pastry counter. The cakes are a Red Velvet Cake made with buttermilk and layered with icing (409 kcal), a Blueberry Cheesecake with a crunchy base (444 kcal) and a Chocolate Fudge cake with fudge frosting (453 kcal). Beside them are cheese, chocolate and plain croissants, a sugar donut, a Triple Chocolate Muffin (583 kcal) and a Skinny Blueberry Muffin listed at 418 kcal for a 142 g serving. Then the smaller things: a box of macarons described as six coloured shells filled with flavoured ganache (though the photo shows three, and the 390 kcal figure is per box), two cookies, and McPops Choco-Hazelnut, bite-sized filled dough balls at 121 kcal that the site lists with no copy at all.
The coffee is Arabica, with the latte and mocha pages naming Rainforest Alliance Certified beans, and it runs from a 2 kcal espresso up through a cappuccino with a cocoa-dusted top, a mocha and an iced latte to two frappes that are the heaviest drinks on the menu, chocolate at 513 kcal and vanilla at 668. The dessert list proper is a KitKat McFlurry (410 kcal) and an Oreo McFlurry (372), hot fudge, strawberry and caramel sundaes, and a vanilla cone the site labels as available at participating restaurants.

Frutea, chocolate milk and Minute Maid
The drink to know about is Frutea Ice Tea Peach Flavor, tea leaves with real fruit juice in the site’s words, which the menu labels as only available at the restaurants. It’s 149 kcal for a 355 g cup, the same cup size as the Coca-Cola. Two milks are listed side by side, a fat-free Chocolate Milk (137 kcal) and a Full Cream Milk (103 kcal), both 180 g and both described as a source of calcium and vitamin D.
