Poland’s McDonald’s has its own cast. The WieśMac is a beef burger under mustard-horseradish sauce, named for the countryside. The Chikker puts chicken strips in a cornmeal-dusted bun, and the McRoyal is the local name for the Quarter Pounder build. Breakfast runs on kajzerka rolls and a McMuffin of twarożek with radish. The current new list borrows from abroad: a teriyaki McCrispy, a popcorn McFlurry credited to Jakarta, Sprite with sakura syrup and Garlic & Pepper Nuggets.
The Polish site sorts its menu into a dozen categories, and most of the local character sits in the burger list and the breakfast board. WieśMac has been on the permanent menu for years, the premium tier goes by Maestro, and the morning menu leans on kaiser rolls and mushrooms. The sauce list is worth a look too, with garlic and yogurt-dill dips next to ketchup and barbecue, and Chicken Boxes come sized for one to four people. Burgers
McRoyal carries the Quarter Pounder with Cheese recipe under a Polish name, so it’s the easiest line to compare against the Canadian and Japanese lineups. Maestro is the premium tier, and the Big Mac, McDouble and cheeseburger are all here as usual.

What is the WieśMac?
It’s a Polish beef burger with cheddar, onion, lettuce and tomato under a mustard-horseradish sauce, served on a sesame bun as a single or a double. The name puns on wieś, the Polish word for village, and McDonald’s Polska calls it a cult burger that has been on the permanent menu for years.
What is a Chikker?
