At McDonald’s Philippines, which almost everyone in the country calls McDo, fried chicken leads the menu. Chicken McDo is crispy bone-in chicken sold with steamed rice or with a plate of McSpaghetti, and it’s the local answer to Jollibee’s Chickenjoy. Breakfast goes local too, with a Cheesy Eggdesal on pandesal and a Sausage Platter with garlic rice and scrambled eggs. The Burger McDo holds the budget end of the burger list, and the Coke McFloat gets hot fudge on its soft serve. Peso prices vary by store; the McDelivery PH app shows yours.
Filipinos call McDonald’s “McDo,” and the company puts the nickname on its own products. The menu is shaped by the competition. Jollibee is the country’s biggest fast-food chain, and its board set the local template: fried chicken with rice, sweet-style spaghetti with hot dog slices, a cheap burger and a fruit pie for dessert. McDo matches the chicken and the spaghetti on one plate (Chicken McDo with McSpaghetti) and the burger with the Burger McDo, while keeping the Big Mac and the Quarter Pounder from the US board. Rice comes with the chicken, the chicken fillet and the breakfast platter. The chicken-and-spaghetti plate has traveled, too: McDonald’s Indonesia sells its own version as a value set. For the rest of the chain’s local oddities, see McDonald’s around the world.

Chicken McDo and McSpaghetti
Chicken McDo is sold by the piece: one or two with rice, or one with McSpaghetti. The corporate site describes crispy, golden brown chicken that stays juicy inside, and a spaghetti of ground beef in the chain’s “signature sauce.” Filipino spaghetti runs sweet, and Jollibee’s version carries sliced hot dogs; McDo’s official description lists ground beef only. The same page also lists a 6-piece Chicken McNuggets with Fries and a Crispy Chicken Fillet with Rice.

Burgers
The Burger McDo is the chain’s local budget burger and its match for Jollibee’s Yumburger; the menu says it now has a beefier patty and a sweeter sauce. The Big Mac and the Quarter Pounder with Cheese are the global builds. The corporate list also carries a Cheeseburger, a Double Cheeseburger, a McChicken Sandwich and a Crispy Chicken Sandwich.

Breakfast
Two breakfast items are built on Filipino formats. Pandesal is the soft, lightly sweet bread roll that Filipino households buy warm from the neighborhood bakery in the morning, and the Cheesy Eggdesal puts egg and cheese inside one. The Sausage Platter follows the silog breakfast, garlic rice (sinangag) and egg (itlog) with a meat, which here is a griddled sausage. Hash browns and hotcakes, plain or with sausage, round out the corporate list.

Fries, drinks and McCafé
The fries are the usual straight cut, and McDonald’s Philippines says it cooks them in palm olein oil. The Coke McFloat adds hot fudge to the Coke and vanilla soft serve, and an A&W Float sits beside it. The corporate dessert list is short: a McFlurry with Oreo, hot fudge and hot caramel sundaes, a sundae cone, a Taro Pie and a Choco Pie. It shows no peach mango pie, the flavor Jollibee is known for, so check the McDelivery board if you want one from McDo.
McCafé covers the espresso list, from macchiato and latte to iced mocha and a run of frappes, plus cheesecakes and a dark chocolate cake. The chain says its coffee is 100% Arabica.
