The short answer

Starbucks Germany’s menu on September 20, 2026 shares its autumn range with the UK and then goes its own way. The food case has a Laugenzopf, a braided pretzel roll filled with roast chicken and Emmental (402 kcal), a Zimtschnecke, a Lachs Bagel and 3Bears porridge made with hot oat drink. The coffee list keeps a Café Crème, a Caffè Misto and a Ristretto Mocha that the UK board doesn’t carry, pumpkin spice goes into two matcha drinks, and there are 17 Frappuccinos to the UK’s 10. The site shows no product prices. What it does publish is a calorie figure for nearly every item, plus a customiser that labels oat, soy, coconut and almond drinks +0,00 and puts a €2.50 (~$2.87) deposit on a returnable cup.

Starbucks Germany's Laugenzopf, a braided pretzel roll filled with sliced chicken, Emmental and a chive cream cheese spread The Laugenzopf Hähnchen Käse as Starbucks Germany’s menu shows it: a braided pretzel roll with roast chicken, a slice of Emmental and a cream cheese and chive spread. If you’ve read our Starbucks UK page, a lot of the drinks here will look familiar. Both sites run on the same Starbucks platform, we harvested both on the same day, and the Caramel Macchiato, the Flat White and the Caffè Latte carry identical calorie figures on each. This page is about where the German board splits off. It sells sandwiches on pretzel dough and multigrain bread where the UK sells bacon rolls and toasties, and it keeps a Café Crème and a Filterkaffee on the coffee list. Its customiser also publishes something the UK’s doesn’t, a cup deposit. McDonald’s Germany bends a global menu the same way, with a McRib that stays on the board all year. For a Starbucks that runs on seasonal drops instead, see Starbucks Japan.

A note on language. Starbucks Germany’s site has a German and an English version, and most product names are English on both: Pumpkin Spice Latte, Cold Brew, Carrot Cake. Only 19 of the 137 product pages carry a different name on the German side, among them Zimtschnecke, Lachs Bagel and Heiße Milch, and this page gives those in German with an English gloss. The category labels are where the German lives: Heißer Kaffee & Mocha, Aufgegossener Tee (brewed tea), Plundergebäck (laminated pastries), Hefegebäck (yeast pastries), Kuchen (cakes).

Checked September 20, 2026. Starbucks Germany doesn’t show product prices on its public web menu. A product page has a photo, a description, a nutrition panel and a customiser, and the price lookup behind it refuses anonymous requests, so what you pay is whatever the store’s board says. The only money figures in public view are surcharges written into customiser labels, covered further down. For drinks, the calorie figure is for the size the product page opens on: Grande for most, Short for the Flat White, Café Crème and Ristretto Mocha, Solo for the espresso drinks. On the date above the menu listed 137 products: 77 drinks, 58 food items and two paper bags. The site’s sold-out flag was on 36 of them, 31 of those in the food lists. The flag comes from the general menu with no store selected, so your store may differ. The site puts no end date on the autumn range, so this page doesn’t either.

The sandwich case: Laugenzopf, Pute & Ei and a Lachs Bagel

This is where the German menu stops looking like the UK one. The UK page’s sausage sandwich, toasties and Marmite ciabatta have no counterpart here. The Klassisch (classic) list has things a German bakery counter would recognise. There’s a Laugenzopf, a braided roll of pretzel dough, filled with roast chicken, Emmental and a cream cheese and chive spread, and a Lachs Bagel with cold-smoked salmon the site labels ASC, the farmed-fish certification. The other in-stock entries are sandwiches on wheat or multigrain bread, one with turkey breast ham and remoulade, one with cooked ham and Gouda, plus a Ham & Cheese Pocket.

The site sorts sandwiches by diet, into Klassisch, Pflanzlich (plant-based) and Vegetarisch. On September 20, 2026 five of the seven plant-based and vegetarian entries carried the sold-out flag, which left the Veganes Italian Antipasti Sandwich and the Sandwich Käse as the meat-free options.

Two notes on the data. The Lachs Bagel’s panel showed 245 kcal next to 1,449 kJ, and those can’t both be right, so the table leaves its calories out. And the German-language page for the antipasti sandwich carried another product’s description, a falafel naan’s, so its ingredients below come from the site’s English page.

Item Calories What it is
Laugenzopf Hähnchen Käse, Pretzel Braid Chicken Cheese Laugenzopf Hähnchen Käse (Pretzel Braid Chicken Cheese) 402 kcal Braided pretzel roll with roast chicken, Emmental and a cream cheese and chive spread. 165 g, 20.9 g protein.

Zimtschnecke, 3Bears porridge and an 817-calorie carrot cake

The cinnamon roll is one of the few items sold under a German name, Zimtschnecke: butter and cinnamon-sugar filling, icing on top, 355 kcal for a 120 g roll. The UK’s Cinnamon Bun is listed at 471 kcal. Germany’s Croissant and Pain au Chocolat both carry the site’s vegan label, which the UK’s Butter Croissant doesn’t.

Porridge is the clearest split between the two boards. The UK’s Classic Porridge is made with semi-skimmed milk and single cream (233 kcal). Germany’s two pots are made with 3Bears porridge and hot oat drink, in Zimtiger Apfel (cinnamon apple) and Feiner Kakao (fine cocoa), and the site describes both as 100% plant-based with no added sugar. They’re 270 g a pot, at 452 and 458 kcal, and they held the first two slots in the Featured Food tab. The snack list, which the site titles Unsere Highlights, adds vanilla and strawberry protein yogurts, 200 g pots with 20 g of protein each.

The Kuchen list has a New York Cheesecake, Marble, Lemon and Pumpkin Spice loaf cakes, a Chocolate Lover Cake (590 kcal) and the carrot cake, which carries the highest calorie figure on the German menu: 817 kcal for a 181 g slice. It’s a torte filled with cheesecake cream and sultanas. The UK’s Carrot Cake is a different recipe at 505 kcal.

Autumn: pumpkin spice goes into the matcha

Germany’s Featured Drinks tab held 11 drinks on September 20, 2026, against eight on the UK site. The shared part is the Pumpkin Spice Latte and the Pumpkin Spice Caramel Macchiato, each hot and iced, the pecan and maple macchiato, hot and iced, the apple crumble matcha and the Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino. Germany’s tab adds the Pumpkin Spice Cream Frappuccino and two drinks the UK menu doesn’t list at all: a Pumpkin Spice Matcha Latte and a Pumpkin Cream Iced Matcha Latte.

Two names differ for what the descriptions say is the same build. Germany’s Pecan Maple Flavour Macchiato is the UK’s Maple Pecan Macchiato (pecan syrup, Blonde espresso, maple drizzle, 215 kcal on both sites), and Germany’s Iced Apple Crumble Cream Matcha is the UK’s Iced Apple Crumble Matcha Latte (328 kcal on both). The Pumpkin Spice Latte is where the numbers part: 266 kcal for a Grande in Germany, 259 in the UK.

The German site has one slip in this range: the Pumpkin Spice Cream Frappuccino’s page reuses the coffee version’s photo and description, coffee included, while its own panel shows zero caffeine and 364 kcal.

The Featured Food tab is the two porridges, a Crunchy Pecan Maple Bar, a Pumpkin Spice Loaf Cake, a pumpkin cake pop (101 kcal) and two Halloween items named Mystery Black Cat. The cake pop was available. The Mystery Black Cat Swirl, a yeast roll filled with Rote Grütze, the red berry compote from northern Germany, was listed with the sold-out flag.

Café Crème, Filterkaffee and the coffees the UK board doesn’t list

Café Crème is the long coffee with a crema on top that German and Swiss cafes pull from an espresso machine, and it has its own slot on Starbucks Germany’s hot list. It comes in one size, Short, at 13 kcal, with a panel figure of 195.7 mg of caffeine, the highest published for any drink on the German menu. Brewed coffee is listed as Frisch gebrühter Filterkaffee, Pike Place Roast. Around them sit four drinks that, like the Café Crème, aren’t in the UK harvest: Caffè Misto, Espresso Con Panna, a Short-only Ristretto Mocha and plain Heiße Milch (hot milk). Going the other way, the UK’s Cortado and Ristretto Bianco aren’t on the German list.

Sizes are tighter here. German product pages for lattes, cappuccinos and brewed coffee list Tall, Grande and Venti, and the UK pages add a Short below that. An Espresso comes as a Solo or a Doppio, where the UK site runs to a Triple and a Quad. The Flat White is Short only on both sites, at the same 76 kcal.

On caffeine, the German panels have gaps the UK ones don’t: Filterkaffee and Cold Brew show energy only, while the UK site gives both a caffeine figure. Where both sites publish one for the same espresso drink and size it’s close to identical, 89.1 mg for a Grande Caffè Latte on each, and 133.6 against 133.7 for a Grande Americano.

Item Calories What it is
Café Crème Café Crème 13 kcal (Short) Long coffee with a crema, Short only. 195.7 mg caffeine per the panel. Labelled vegan.
Frisch gebrühter Filterkaffee - Pike Place Roast, Freshly Brewed Coffee - Pike Place Roast Frisch gebrühter Filterkaffee - Pike Place Roast (Freshly Brewed Coffee) 31 kcal (Grande) Brewed medium roast. Tall, Grande and Venti. No caffeine figure on the German panel.
Caffè Misto Caffè Misto 97 kcal (Grande) Half brewed coffee, half steamed milk. 137.5 mg caffeine.
Ristretto Mocha Ristretto Mocha 120 kcal (Short) Ristretto shots with mocha sauce, warm milk and cocoa powder. Short only, three shots by default, 118.7 mg caffeine.
Espresso Con Panna Espresso Con Panna 46 kcal (Solo) A shot of espresso with whipped cream. Solo or Doppio.
Flat White Flat White 76 kcal (Short) Two shots under steamed milk, one size. Whole milk is the default.
Caffè Latte Caffè Latte 151 kcal (Grande) Espresso, steamed milk and a thin layer of foam. 89.1 mg caffeine. The customiser opens on Halbfett-Milch.
Latte Macchiato Latte Macchiato 147 kcal (Grande) Espresso poured over milk and milk foam. An Iced Latte Macchiato (132 kcal) is listed too.
Heiße Milch, Hot Milk Heiße Milch (Hot Milk) 203 kcal (Grande) Steamed milk and nothing else. 13.4 g protein on the default semi-skimmed.

What the customiser publishes: a cup deposit, plant milks at +0,00 and a soy protein drink

Starbucks Germany shows no product prices, but its customiser labels carry a few money figures, and they tell you how the German stores work. Every drink page, and both porridge pages, asks you to choose between an Einwegbecher (disposable cup), labelled +0,05, and a Mehrwegbecher (returnable cup), labelled +2,50 Pfand. Pfand means deposit. Read as euros, that’s €0.05 for the throwaway cup and a €2.50 (~$2.87) deposit on the returnable one. The cup labels carry no currency sign. The labels that do are the Soy Protein Drink at +1,50 € and extra tea bags at +1,00 € each, so this page reads the whole set as euros. Wooden forks, knives and spoons are labelled +0,05 apiece on 11 food items. The UK customiser we harvested the same day has no figures in it at all.

The milk list is Halbfett-Milch (semi-skimmed, the default on most drinks), Vollmilch (whole, the default on the Flat White and every Frappuccino), Magermilch (skimmed), Laktosefreie Milch (lactose-free), Sojadrink, Kokosdrink, Mandeldrink and Haferdrink (oat), each labelled +0,00. Lactose-free milk isn’t on the UK list. The only milk option with a surcharge on its label is the Soy Protein Drink, and that’s the base of Germany’s protein range: a Soy Protein Sugar Free Vanilla Latte and a Soy Protein Matcha Latte, each hot and iced. The hot latte has 16.6 g of protein in a Grande against 10.9 g in a plain Caffè Latte. The UK gets its protein from a cold foam instead and lands higher, at 24.4 g for a Grande Caramel Protein Latte.

The syrup list runs longer than the UK’s. Germany has caramel, hazelnut, vanilla, peppermint, raspberry, coconut, peach, almond and a plain simple syrup, with sugar-free caramel, hazelnut and vanilla. The UK’s brown sugar syrup isn’t there, and neither is the Iced Brown Sugar Oat Shaken Espresso built on it. Iced drinks can take one of ten cream cold foams, from vanilla and caramel to chai, matcha, almond and the autumn range’s pumpkin spice and apple.

The menu’s third top-level category, To Go, holds exactly two products: a Kleine Papiertüte and a Große Papiertüte, a small and a large paper bag.

Item Calories What it is
Soy Protein Sugar Free Vanilla Latte Soy Protein Sugar Free Vanilla Latte 194 kcal (Grande) Espresso, steamed protein soy drink and sugar-free vanilla syrup. 16.6 g protein, labelled vegan. Iced is 135 kcal and 11.3 g.

Cold drinks and 17 Frappuccinos

Germany lists 17 Frappuccinos to the UK’s 10. The seven extras are Espresso, White Chocolate Mocha and Java Chip on the coffee side, and Vanilla Cream, White Chocolate Mocha Cream, Chai Cream and Chocolate Chip Cream on the other. The range runs from 144 kcal for a Grande Espresso Frappuccino to 401 for the Chocolate Chip Cream. The Cookies and Cream carried the sold-out flag.

The Refresha list is six long against the UK’s two. Strawberry Acai, Pink Coconut and a blended Frozen Strawberry Acai were available, and the three mango dragonfruit versions were flagged sold out. The UK’s Cool Lime isn’t on the German menu. Iced tea comes as lemonades here (Iced Green Tea Lemonade at 43 kcal, Iced Peach Tea Lemonade at 72), with no plain Iced Green Tea.

The Aerocano is the one to know about: Blonde espresso shots aerated with ice into a foamy Americano-style drink, 9 kcal, and not on the UK menu. The heaviest drink on the German menu is the Iced White Chocolate at 414 kcal for a Grande, ahead of the Iced White Chocolate Mocha and the Chocolate Chip Cream Frappuccino at 401 each.

Item Calories What it is
Aerocano Aerocano 9 kcal (Grande) Blonde espresso shots steamed and aerated with ice. Three shots by default, 128.2 mg caffeine.
Iced Chai Cream Caramel Latte Iced Chai Cream Caramel Latte not published Signature espresso, caramel syrup, milk and ice under chai flavoured cream cold foam. The nutrition panel was empty when we checked.
Cold Brew Cold Brew 22 kcal (Grande) Steeped cold for 20 hours, unsweetened, labelled vegan. The Cold Brew Latte is 123 kcal.

Java Chip Coffee Frappuccino Java Chip Coffee Frappuccino 393 kcal (Grande) Mocha sauce, chocolate chips, coffee, milk and ice under whipped cream and mocha drizzle. The heaviest coffee Frappuccino on the list.
Espresso Frappuccino Espresso Frappuccino 144 kcal (Grande) Frappuccino roast coffee, coffee syrup and one espresso blended with milk and ice. The lightest of the 17.
Chai Cream Frappuccino Chai Cream Frappuccino 319 kcal (Grande) Chai, milk and ice blended and topped with whipped cream. 21.6 mg caffeine.

Chai, matcha and a laxative warning

Matcha gets its own category in the German drinks menu with eight drinks in it, and the German descriptions call the Matcha Latte and the Iced Matcha Latte unsweetened (ungesüßt). A Grande Matcha Latte is 166 kcal against 161 in the UK.

Every chai drink on the German site ends its description with the same warning, that excessive consumption may have a laxative effect. It’s on the Chai Latte, the Iced Chai Latte, the Chai Cream Frappuccino and the Iced Chai Cream Caramel Latte, and on both protein yogurts. Nothing in the UK harvest carries that line, including the UK’s Chai Latte, which has the same 181 kcal and 52.4 mg of caffeine. The site doesn’t say which ingredient triggers the label, so this page doesn’t guess.

Brewed tea is five choices: English Breakfast, Earl Grey, Emperor’s Clouds & Mist, Mint Blend and a Hibiscus that was flagged sold out.

Item Calories What it is
Chai Latte Chai Latte 181 kcal (Grande) Spiced black tea with steamed milk. 52.4 mg caffeine. Carries the laxative-effect line.
Matcha Latte Matcha Latte 166 kcal (Grande) Matcha and steamed milk, unsweetened per the German description. Iced is 122 kcal.

Listed but sold out

Of the 137 products on the German menu, 36 carried the sold-out flag on September 20, 2026, against three on the UK site. Some of them read like specials that were never taken down. There’s a Bunny Cup Cookie the description calls an Easter treat, a UBErry Zimtschnecke with a blueberry filling, a Matcha Cherry Blob Muffin, a Calamansi-Mango Lover Cake, a Pistachio Velvet Latte Cake, a Mini Pastel de Nata, and a Pink Velvet Cake the site says was developed with Sallys Welt, the German baking channel. There’s also a Tomato Franz, a savoury yeast pastry with a tomato and vegetable filling. They don’t get photos or item pages here, because this page only gives those to things the site said you could order on the check date.

FAQ

Does Starbucks Germany publish prices online?

No. As of September 20, 2026 the public menu on starbucks.de shows no product prices on category or product pages, and the site’s price lookup refuses anonymous requests. The only money figures in public view are customiser labels: +0,05 on a disposable cup, +2,50 Pfand (deposit) on a returnable cup, +1,50 € on the soy protein drink and +1,00 € on each extra tea bag.

Is the Pumpkin Spice Latte on the Starbucks Germany menu right now?

Yes. On September 20, 2026 the Pumpkin Spice Latte was first in the Featured Drinks tab, listed hot (266 kcal for a Grande) and iced (199 kcal). Germany also lists a Pumpkin Spice Matcha Latte (303 kcal) and a Pumpkin Cream Iced Matcha Latte (240 kcal), which the UK menu doesn’t have. The site gives no end date for the range.

What is the Laugenzopf at Starbucks Germany?

It’s a sandwich on a braided pretzel roll. The full name is Laugenzopf Hähnchen Käse, and the filling is roast chicken, Emmental and a cream cheese and chive spread. The site lists it at 402 kcal for 165 g, with 20.9 g of protein, and its English pages call it a pretzel braid.

What is a Café Crème?

Café Crème is a long coffee with a layer of crema, the standard black coffee from an espresso machine in German and Swiss cafes. Starbucks Germany lists it in one size, Short, at 13 kcal and 195.7 mg of caffeine per the site’s panel. It isn’t on the Starbucks UK menu.

Does Starbucks Germany charge extra for oat milk?

Not according to the site’s customiser. On September 20, 2026 oat, soy, coconut, almond and lactose-free milk were each labelled +0,00, the same as the dairy milks. The exception is the Soy Protein Drink, labelled +1,50 €. That’s what the labels say, and the site shows no product prices to check them against.

What sizes does Starbucks Germany sell?

Most drinks come in Tall, Grande and Venti. The German product pages don’t list a Short for lattes, cappuccinos or brewed coffee, which the UK pages do. Three drinks are Short only: the Flat White, the Café Crème and the Ristretto Mocha. Espresso, Espresso Macchiato and Espresso Con Panna come as a Solo or a Doppio.

How is the Starbucks Germany menu different from the UK one?

The food is the biggest difference. Germany has a pretzel-braid sandwich, a Lachs Bagel, sandwiches with remoulade and Gouda, a Zimtschnecke and oat-drink porridge, where the UK has bacon rolls, toasties, a Marmite ciabatta and Victoria sponge. On drinks, Germany adds Café Crème, Caffè Misto, the Aerocano, two pumpkin matcha drinks and seven more Frappuccinos, and it lacks the UK’s Cortado, Ristretto Bianco, Iced Brown Sugar Oat Shaken Espresso and Cool Lime Refresha. The UK site also lists bottled drinks, take-home coffee and merchandise, and the German menu has none of those categories.

What vegan food does Starbucks Germany have?

Three in-stock food items carried the site’s vegan label on September 20, 2026: the Croissant, the Pain au Chocolat and the Veganes Italian Antipasti Sandwich. The two 3Bears porridges are described as 100% plant-based but carry no vegan label in the site’s data. More vegan-labelled items, including a Spicy Curry Falafel Naan and a focaccia with plant-based chicken, were flagged sold out. Oat, soy, coconut and almond drinks are in the milk list.
