KFC’s US board on October 4, 2026 leads with Hot Ranch: two Big Boxes ($12.49 with a Chicken Sandwich, $11.49 with tenders), a 6-piece Double Crispy Hot Wings combo at $10.49, a 4 oz Hot Ranch Big Dip at $1.49 and Hot Ranch Loaded Wedges at $5.49. Behind it sits Popcorn Chicken, back since July 13, 2026 after it left menus in 2023, as a $10 bucket of about 50 pieces, an $8.49 combo and a $10.99 Big Box, plus Pepsi and Dr Pepper “dirty sodas” with sweet vanilla cream at $3.99. The value lineup is the $7, $9 and $11 Box Feasts, a $5 Taste of KFC 2 pc. Deal and a $10 Bucket of the Day that changes by weekday. An 8 pc. Chicken Meal with two large sides and four biscuits is $29.19, and the bucket alone is $19.99. kfc.com shows no prices until you pick a restaurant, so every dollar figure here is one Louisville, Kentucky store’s web pickup price, and other restaurants charge differently. Calories come from the site’s own menu tiles.

This is KFC’s home market, and the menu on kfc.com reads like a company in the middle of a reset. Its own newsroom calls the program the Kentucky Fried Comeback, and the last fifteen months of it are all on the board at once: Potato Wedges and Hot & Spicy Wings came back on August 18, 2025, the Box Feasts were announced on March 30, 2026, the $10 Tuesday bucket became a weekday Bucket of the Day on May 4, 2026, and Popcorn Chicken returned on July 13, 2026. On top of that sits the Hot Ranch range that fills the first five tiles of The Latest tab today. For the rest of the American fast-food picture, see McDonald’s USA (and its drinks and desserts page), Burger King US and Starbucks US. For KFC elsewhere, there is KFC UK and the Christmas ritual in Japan.
The catch with kfc.com is prices. The menu you see before choosing a restaurant is a national list with photos, descriptions and calorie counts and no dollar figures at all. Pick a store and the same menu reloads with that store’s prices, which is how KFC can say, in the footnote on nearly every release, that prices and participation vary. So this page priced one restaurant: KFC 5603 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY 40219, the nearest store taking web orders to the Louisville address kfc.com uses as its default. Every price below is that store’s web pickup price on October 4, 2026, and your KFC will differ. The clearest example is on the Deals tab, where the national menu lists a “$20 Chicken & Nuggets Family Meal” and the Louisville store sells the same meal, without the $20 in its name, for $24.99.
Checked October 4, 2026. Checked against KFC’s own US menu, its Deals tab, its homepage cards and the releases in its newsroom; images are KFC’s. Prices are US dollars before tax, for web pickup at the Louisville store named above; the footnote on KFC’s Value Feast release says prices are higher in Alaska, Hawaii, California and on third-party ordering websites. Calorie figures are the “Cal.” numbers kfc.com prints on each menu tile. For combos those are ranges, because the site counts every side and drink you could choose. Where the site’s own figures for an item disagree with each other (it happens on a handful of items, noted below), this page gives none. Names are the ones on the national menu; where the Louisville menu uses a different name, the text says so.
Hot Ranch, the top of The Latest
The Latest is the second tab on kfc.com’s menu, after Deals, and on October 4 it held thirteen tiles. The first five are Hot Ranch: two Big Boxes, the Big Dip, Loaded Wedges and a six-wing combo. The dip is the point of the range. KFC describes it as an extra-large 4 oz serving of creamy Hot Ranch, “made for dipping, dunking and sharing,” and the homepage sells it in four words: Hot. Ranch. Big. Dip. A second homepage card, “These Wings are HOT,” points at the Double Crispy Hot Wings that go in the boxes.
Those wings have a dated history in KFC’s newsroom. Its August 11, 2025 release announced the return of its Hot & Spicy Wings on August 18, after what it called nearly two years away, and described them as a spicy marinade with double hand-breading in Extra Crispy flour. The menu now calls them Double Crispy Hot Wings. On the national order screen the Big Box lets you switch the three wings to Original Honey BBQ or Nashville Hot and the 6 pc. combo adds Mike’s Hot Honey as a fourth flavor; the Louisville store’s screens offer fewer options (Double Crispy Hot or Original Honey BBQ in the box, Double Crispy Hot alone in the combo). Potato wedges are the default side in all three builds.
KFC puts no launch date on any of the Hot Ranch items and the newsroom has no release for them, so this page doesn’t date the range. One number to treat with care: kfc.com gives the Big Dip 530 calories on its menu tile and 120 on the item’s own entry, so no calorie figure for it appears here.

The Deals tab’s Members Only card on October 4 added 10 Double Crispy Hot Wings free to any $15-plus digital order, limited time.
Popcorn Chicken is back, with a cookie and dirty sodas
The rest of The Latest is the July 13, 2026 drop. KFC’s release that day said Popcorn Chicken, first introduced in the early 1990s, had disappeared from menus in 2023 and was returning nationwide “only while supplies last,” in three formats whose release prices the Louisville store matches to the cent: a $10 bucket, an $8.49 combo and a $10.99 Big Box. The menu copy sizes the bucket at about 50 pieces and the combo and box portions at 6 oz. Popcorn Chicken on its own, 6 oz in what KFC calls a new popcorn box, is $4.99 at Louisville, and that store has renamed its Nuggets tab “Nuggets & Popcorn Chicken.”
The Chocolate Chunk Cookie is listed in The Latest too, and it is the dessert inside the Popcorn Chicken Big Box. Then come the two dirty sodas. The national menu names them “Pepsi with Sweet, Vanilla Cream” and “Dr Pepper with Sweet, Vanilla Cream”; the Louisville menu calls them Pepsi Dirty Soda and Dr Pepper Dirty Soda and pours five more: Starry, Mountain Dew and Pepsi Zero versions at $3.99, and Lemonade and Mountain Dew Sweet Lightning versions at $2.99 medium, $3.19 large. Inside the combos, a medium dirty soda is a 30-cent upcharge over the plain drink, as is a medium Signature Lemonade.

Box Feasts, Taste of KFC and the Deals tab
KFC’s answer to what its March 30, 2026 release called the value wars is the Value Feast lineup, built on three Box Feasts whose names are their prices, at least in Louisville: $7.00, $9.00 and $11.00. All three come with 3 oz of fries and a medium drink, per the release. The $7 box is one KFC Snacker, five nuggets and a sauce; the $9 box is two Snackers and five nuggets; the $11 box is a Chicken Sandwich, two tenders and two sauces. The Snacker, which the release describes as a mini brioche bun with one tender, mayo and pickles, can be remixed with spicy mayo, coleslaw or both at no extra charge on the order screen.
The Deals tab proper has eight tiles on the national menu and twenty-four at Louisville. The national eight are the Taste of KFC 2 pc. and 4 pc. Deals, three Meals for Two, the 50 pc. Nuggets, a 6 pc. Chicken + 12 pc. Nuggets Family Meal at $27.99, and the Chicken & Nuggets Family Meal discussed above. KFC’s content system badges the Meals for Two, the 50 pc. Nuggets and the family meal “Digital Exclusive.” The Meals for Two are $15.00 for 5 pc. Chicken with two sides, two biscuits and two medium drinks, $17.00 for two sandwiches and four tenders, and $21.99 for two sandwiches and ten nuggets.
Louisville’s extra sixteen tiles are mostly store-level offers: 2 pc. Drumstick & Thigh for $2.99, 2 pc. Original Recipe Tenders for $2.99 (the copy says limited time only), 6 pc. Drumsticks & Thighs + 4 Biscuits for $10.00, 6 pc. Tenders + 4 Biscuits for $10.00, six tenders plus six drums and thighs for $15.00, an 8 pc. Drumstick & Thigh Bucket for $11.00, a Taste of KFC 6 pc. Deal for $20.00 that comes with four sides, and a Chicken & Tenders Feast of 8 pc. Chicken + 8 pc. Tenders with three large sides, four biscuits and four sauces for $40.00. There is also a Country Fried Steak Meal at $4.99, which the homepage card “Smothered with Love” sells as Wednesdays only: country fried steak with peppery gravy, mashed potatoes, coleslaw and a biscuit. KFC’s newsroom page for that meal dated it July 1 to August 19 at a list of restaurants, so the Wednesday card outlived its original window.

The $10 Bucket of the Day and the Members Only offers
KFC’s May 4, 2026 release turned its $10 Tuesday into a weekday schedule: Monday 24 nuggets with four sauces, Tuesday 8 drums and thighs, Wednesday 10 wings with two sauces, Thursday 8 tenders with four sauces, Friday 24 nuggets again. The terms on the Deals tab’s “$10 Weekday Bucket” cards repeat that schedule and add that it isn’t available on third-party ordering platforms. A couple of older cards on the same tab assign different days to the same buckets, so read the card you’re redeeming. Two further cards badged “Tuesdays Only” offer the 8 pc. drum and thigh bucket or 8 pc. tenders for $10, or the meal version with two large sides and four biscuits for $20. The Louisville menu lists the weekday buckets (24 pc. Nuggets Only, 10 pc. Wings Only, 8 pc. Tenders Only) at $10.00 each.
The Deals tab on October 4 also carried offers for KFC Rewards members, redeemed on a digital order. Beside the free wings mentioned above: a $2 Pot Pie with a $10-plus order (the homepage card is “Warm. Flaky. Just $2.”), 30% off the 8 pc. Original Recipe Chicken Meal, a $5 3 pc. Tenders Combo with a $10-plus order, 25% off the 12 pc. Chicken Meal, 35% off 12 pc. Tenders, a free KFC Snacker and a $1 large side with $10-plus orders, 2 Famous Bowls for $8, 15% off the Taste of KFC 4 pc. Deal, and two $5 boxes: a Chicken & Nuggets Box (2 pieces of dark meat, 5 nuggets, a medium drink and a sauce) and a Chicken & Tenders Box (a drum or thigh, 2 tenders, individual fries and a sauce). New Rewards accounts get 50% off a first digital order, up to $10. The cards’ terms say the offers can’t be combined with each other, and the ones marked limited time give no end date.
Buckets and family meals
The bucket is still the center of the menu, and kfc.com sells it in two shapes: a Variety Bucket (for 8 pieces, 2 drums, 2 thighs, 2 breasts and 2 wings) or an all-dark Drum & Thigh Bucket (4 and 4). The national order screen offers each in Original Recipe, Extra Crispy, Grilled or Hot and Spicy; the Louisville store offers Original Recipe and Extra Crispy only. The calorie spread is wide for that reason: the 8 pc. bucket runs from 920 calories for Grilled drums and thighs to 2400 for a Variety bucket in Extra Crispy.

The larger meals follow the same pattern; here they are as a plain list of Louisville prices. The 12 pc. Chicken Meal, with three large sides and six biscuits, is $37.49, and the 12 pc. bucket alone is $25.99. The 16 pc. Chicken Meal, with four large sides and eight biscuits, is $48.29, and the 16 pc. bucket alone is $33.99. The Double Mash Meal is seven pieces of chicken, two large mashed potatoes and gravy and four biscuits for $20.00. The Fan Favorites Box, also $20.00, is four pieces of chicken, 12 nuggets, fries, four biscuits and four sauces. The Chicken & Tenders Feast of 6 pc. Chicken + 6 pc. Tenders with two large sides and three sauces is $30.00. For one or two people, the 3 pc. Chicken Combo is $10.89, the 3 pc. Chicken Big Box Meal with two sides is $12.69, and the 4 pc. Chicken Combo (breast, thigh, drum and wing) is $12.99.
Tenders, nuggets, the sandwich and the Snacker
Tenders come hand-breaded in Original Recipe on both menus. The 3 pc. Tenders Combo carries KFC’s “Must Try” badge, and the ladder above it at Louisville runs $11.39 for the 4 pc. combo, $12.79 for the 5 pc. and $13.89 for the 5 pc. Tenders Big Box Meal with two sides. Tenders by the bucket are $19.99 for 8 with four sauces, and the meals with large sides and biscuits are $29.19 for 8, $37.49 for 12 and $47.99 for 16.
Nuggets, which KFC describes as 100% white meat and hand breaded in Original Recipe, are priced at Louisville by the piece count: 5 for $3.49, 8 for $4.99, 10 for $5.99, 12 for $6.99, 36 for $20.39 and 50 for $34.99 (the 50 carries KFC’s “Digital Exclusive” badge). The 8 pc. Nuggets Combo is $8.29 and the 12 pc. Nuggets Combo $10.29, both with a side, a medium drink, two sauces and a biscuit.
The Chicken Sandwich is an Extra Crispy breast filet on a toasted brioche bun with pickles and what KFC calls the Colonel’s real mayo, or spicy mayo in the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. The KFC Snacker is the small version: one Original Recipe tender with pickles and mayo on a brioche bun, with a footnote that some stores use a sesame seed bun. It comes four ways (plain, spicy, with coleslaw, spicy with coleslaw) at the same price. The tab is called Sandwiches & Wraps, but neither menu listed a wrap on October 4. Louisville adds a Mike’s Hot Honey line the national menu doesn’t show: a Mike’s Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich Combo at $8.49, a 3 pc. Mike’s Hot Honey Chicken Combo at $10.19, a 4 pc. Mike’s Hot Honey Tenders Combo at $10.59 and a Mike’s Hot Honey Fan Favorite’s Box at $25.00.

Famous Bowl, Mac & Cheese Bowl and the Pot Pie
Pot Pies & Bowls is a six-tile tab, and it holds two of KFC’s most American items. The Famous Bowl is mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, crispy chicken nuggets and a three-cheese blend in one bowl, and the Mac & Cheese Bowl swaps the potato base for KFC’s mac and cheese. The Pot Pie is fried chicken, diced potatoes, peas and carrots in a sauce under a flaky crust. Each has a combo version that adds a drink, medium by default: $6.99 for the Famous Bowl, $6.69 for the Mac & Cheese Bowl, $6.89 for the Pot Pie. The Mac & Cheese Bowl is one of the items where kfc.com contradicts itself on calories (520 on the national tile, 660 on the Louisville one), so none are given.

Sides, biscuits, sauces and drinks
At Louisville every regular side is the same pair of prices, $2.99 individual and $5.19 large, with one exception: Signature Brown Gravy on its own is $2.99 and $4.79. The sides are Secret Recipe Fries, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, plain Mashed Potatoes, Mac & Cheese, Potato Wedges, Cole Slaw and Sweet Corn, plus Green Beans at Louisville only (25 calories individual, 80 large). Wedges are the comeback story here: KFC’s August 11, 2025 release dated them to the mid-1990s, called their 2020 removal a hotly debated discontinuation, and brought them back on August 18, 2025.
Biscuits are sold singly and in twos, fours and dozens, 180 calories each. Sauces are 25 cents a cup at Louisville: KFC Sauce (badged POPULAR), Comeback Sauce, Classic Ranch, Buffalo Ranch, Honey BBQ, Honey Mustard and Sticky Chicky Sweet ‘n Sour, from 45 calories for Honey BBQ to 130 for Classic Ranch. Honey sauce, hot sauce and ketchup are free. The national list also shows a 20-calorie Gravy Dip Cup that Louisville doesn’t carry.
Fountain drinks are $2.99 medium and $3.19 large: Pepsi, Pepsi Zero Sugar, Starry, Mountain Dew, Dr Pepper, Sweet Tea, KFC Signature Lemonade and Mountain Dew Sweet Lightning, a peach and honey flavor whose own menu copy says it is only available at KFC. A half-gallon jug of sweet tea or lemonade is $4.29, Aquafina is $1.99, and Unsweet Tea is on the national list but not Louisville’s. The two kids meals, 5 pc. Nuggets or 2 pc. Tenders, are $5.19 with a side (applesauce, Jr. fries or an individual side) and a drink (milk, Capri Sun or a medium soda).

Where the Louisville menu and the national menu differ
Because this page priced one store, here is exactly what that store does and doesn’t share with the national list. The national menu had 118 items on October 4 and the Louisville menu 141. Louisville adds the a la carte Double Crispy Hot Wings in three sizes, the Mike’s Hot Honey combos, Green Beans, Signature Brown Gravy as a side, the half-gallon jug, five extra dirty sodas and the sixteen store-level deals listed earlier. The national list has things Louisville lacks: four Fill Up combos (a 1 pc. Chicken Fill Up with a breast, mashed potatoes and gravy, a biscuit, two pie poppers and a drink; a 2 pc. version; a 3 pc. Tenders Fill Up; a Famous Bowl Fill Up), the Grilled and Hot and Spicy chicken styles, Unsweet Tea and the Gravy Dip Cup. None of those carry a price anywhere on kfc.com, since the national list has none.
There is also a restaurant that runs a different menu entirely. KFC’s September 24, 2026 release announced Open House, a 52-seat restaurant at 8751 El Dorado Parkway in McKinney, Texas, opening September 26 with breakfast and late-night hours, table service, Krunch shakes, boba refreshers, lemonades and a sauce lineup that includes Jalapeño Ranch and Garlic Parmesan. The release frames it as a place to test ideas for KFC’s 3,500-plus US restaurants. Its items appear in KFC’s content system with an “OH” prefix and are not on the national menu or the Louisville one, so they are not on this page.
FAQ
How much is a bucket of chicken at KFC in the US?
At the Louisville, Kentucky restaurant priced for this page on October 4, 2026, the 8 pc. Chicken Only bucket is $19.99, the 12 pc. is $25.99 and the 16 pc. is $33.99. The 8 pc. Chicken Meal with two large sides and four biscuits is $29.19, the 12 pc. Meal $37.49 and the 16 pc. Meal $48.29. kfc.com shows no prices until you choose a restaurant, and KFC says prices vary by location, so treat these as one store’s figures.
Does KFC’s website show prices?
Not until you pick a restaurant. The national menu on kfc.com lists names, photos, descriptions and calorie counts with no dollar figures; select a store and the same menu reloads with that store’s web prices. That’s why this page quotes one named Louisville store, and why the same meal can be called the “$20 Chicken & Nuggets Family Meal” on the national list and cost $24.99 at that store.
What is new at KFC right now?
Hot Ranch fills the first five tiles of kfc.com’s The Latest tab as of October 4, 2026: a Hot Ranch Big Box with wings and a Chicken Sandwich ($12.49 in Louisville), one with wings and tenders ($11.49), a 6 pc. Hot Wings Combo ($10.49), a 4 oz Hot Ranch Big Dip ($1.49) and Hot Ranch Loaded Wedges ($5.49). The rest of the tab is the Popcorn Chicken range, the Chocolate Chunk Cookie and two dirty sodas. KFC publishes no dates for the Hot Ranch items.
Is Popcorn Chicken back at KFC?
Yes. KFC’s July 13, 2026 release brought Popcorn Chicken back nationwide after it left menus in 2023, in a $10 bucket of about 50 pieces with four sauces, an $8.49 combo and a $10.99 Big Box, all “while supplies last” in KFC’s words.
