Hungry Jack’s own About page calls the company the Burger King franchise in Australia. The Whopper is on the board alongside a long list of Hungry Jack’s names: the Big Jack, a Grill Masters Angus range on brioche, Jack’s Fried Chicken, Turkish brekky rolls before 11am, thick cut chips instead of fries, Storms for dessert and Frozen Coke spiders. On October 4, 2026 the what’s-new list led with a Cheese Lovers Whopper, two Pistachio Papi desserts, an Eggs Benny Brekky Roll and an NBL Slam Dunk Pack. The site publishes kilojoules for nearly every item and prices for very few: the Penny Pinchers value list and the app deals are the exceptions, from A$2 (~$1.39) for small chips to A$16 (~$11) for two fried chicken burgers.

The name first. hungryjacks.com.au’s About page is titled “Hungry Jack’s - The Burger King Franchise In Australia”, and its description line reads “Hungry Jack’s Is The Master Australian Franchise Of The Burger King Corporation”. The structured data on the homepage lists Burger King as the company’s alternate name. The same About page says Jack Cowin, the founder and still the biggest shareholder, opened the first restaurant in Innaloo, Perth, in 1971, calls Hungry Jack’s a proudly Aussie owned company, and counts more than 480 restaurants. That is everything the site says about the relationship, and this page sticks to it.
At the counter the Whopper, which the site calls an Aussie legend for over 40 years and its largest burger, heads the board. Nearly everything around it reads local. The chips are thick cut (the About page describes the switch from traditional fries as something customers asked for), the double-patty burger is a Big Jack, the premium line is Grill Masters Angus on a brioche bun, breakfast is brekky and comes on Turkish rolls, a frozen drink with soft serve on top is a spider, and the coffee is Jack’s Cafe, with a board that runs from flat whites to piccolos. For the other big burger board in the same country see McDonald’s Australia, and for the coffee side see Starbucks Australia.
Checked against Hungry Jack’s own menu; images © Hungry Jack’s.
Checked October 4, 2026. Hungry Jack’s publishes no prices for its regular menu, so most items below read “in-store pricing”; the site’s FAQ says app pre-order prices are the same as counter prices. The dollar figures that do appear on the site are in two places: the Penny Pinchers value list, which the site says is only at participating restaurants with “Delivery, Airports and Karratha pricing” varying, and the Jack’s App Deals, which are pickup only through the app and not available on delivery. Those are quoted where they apply and nowhere else. Energy is published in kilojoules on nearly every product page, with a percentage of daily intake beside it, and this page uses the site’s kJ figures as printed. Most product pages don’t say which size the figure is for, so sizes are named only where the site names them. Delivery, per the site’s delivery page, is through Uber Eats only.
One caution about the site itself. The visible menu tiles are current, but the structured data behind the category pages still lists several hundred products that have no tile, from a Baconator Brekky Wrap to Parmi and Kansas City chicken burgers, and every one of those we spot-checked returned an error page. Several bundle pages also repeat their headline burger’s kJ figure as the bundle’s, and the Pistachio Papi Shake shows 2001 kJ on its What’s New page but 2352 kJ on its Cold Drinks page. This page uses only what the site displays, and skips the kJ figures for bundles.
What’s new: Cheese Lovers Whopper, Big Jack and Pistachio Papi
The What’s New page says to “get to it, for a short time only”, and it ran to 19 tiles on the check date. The headline is the Cheese Lovers Whopper, with a Double beside it and both as Hunger Tamers bundles. The Big Jack sits on the same page with its Double and Angus versions. Pistachio Papi is the dessert flavour of the moment, in a Storm and a shake. Breakfast gets an Eggs Benny Brekky Roll and Wrap, and the drinks fridge adds Frozen Fanta Grape and Strawberry, each also sold as a Spider. The NBL Slam Dunk Pack, a sharing pack, comes in beef and fried chicken versions. The Cheesy Cheeseburger and the 6 Nuggets & Large Chips Snack Box are on the list too, cross-filed under Penny Pinchers.

The Whopper range
The Whopper page describes the burger as flame-grilled Aussie beef with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, mayo and tomato sauce on a toasted sesame seed bun, and the category header calls it the largest burger on the menu. From there the range stacks up: Double Whopper, Whopper Cheese, Double Whopper Cheese, Triple Whopper Cheese, and an Ultimate Double that adds two slices of cheese and eye bacon. The Angry Whopper brings angry onions and jalapenos, and its page says you can order it single, double or triple. The Cowboy Whopper piles on double bacon, onion rings, smoky BBQ sauce and mustard.
Below the Whopper line the beef menu runs through the Bacon Deluxe, the Cheeseburger in single, double and triple, the BBQ Cheeseburger and a plain Hamburger. Two things the site says about the beef: it’s 100% Aussie, and the Better Food page describes a Better Beef Guarantee of no additives, preservatives, colourants or fillers.

Grill Masters Angus on brioche
Grill Masters is the premium tier. The Better Food page puts the Angus patty at a third of a pound before grilling, and every burger in the range comes on a toasted brioche bun. Most are built on double bacon and what the site calls natural cheese; the Angus, Bacon & Cheese lists cheddar and crispy bacon instead, with smoky BBQ sauce and pickles. The Chicago Angus has peppercorn sauce, tomato and lettuce, the BBQ Smokehouse adds mustard, crispy onions and mayo, and the Cowboy Angus brings onion rings and ranch sauce. Each has a double.
The chipotle burgers split the country. The Smoky Chipotle Angus page says it’s at participating restaurants excluding Victoria and Tasmania, while the Spicy Chipotle Angus, which swaps in crispy jalapenos, is listed for selected VIC and TAS restaurants only.

Jack’s Fried Chicken, Chicken Royale and the tenders
Jack’s Fried Chicken is the fried chicken burger line: a thick fillet on a soft brioche bun, Classic with lettuce and mayo or Spicy with Signature Spicy Sauce, and Cheesy Bacon versions of both. The grilled side has a flame-grilled breast fillet with ranch dressing, a Spicy Grilled Chicken and a Grilled Chicken with Bacon & Cheese. The Chicken Royale, crispy coated chicken with lettuce and mayo, is the budget chicken burger and turns up on the Penny Pinchers list at A$3.75 (~$2.60).
The Chicken page covers the pieces. Southern Style Tenders, made with 100% Aussie chicken, come in threes and fives, plain with a dipping sauce or coated in Korean BBQ sauce as Saucy Tenders, and one tender goes into each of three snack wraps: Creamy Pepper, Spicy and Smoky BBQ.

Veggie Whopper and Plant Based Whopper
The Veggie Range page sells two meat-free patties in Whopper form. The Veggie Whopper Cheese uses a patty the site says is made from corn, capsicum and carrot, in single, double and Angry versions. The Plant Based Whopper uses a patty made from plants, flame-grilled, and comes plain, with cheese or Angry. Every page in the range carries the same line: not suitable for vegans.

Brekky before 11am: Turkish rolls, wraps and French Toast Fingers
The breakfast page says the menu is available before 11am, and the site’s FAQ adds that most stores start at 5am, some at 6am. The eggs are freshly cracked and cage-free, the bacon is eye bacon and the sausage is flame-grilled, all per the site. The rolls come two ways: Turkish rolls (Bacon & Egg, Sausage & Egg, and the new Eggs Benny) and Jack’s Brekky Roll on brioche. The wraps scale from the BBQ Brekky Wrap through a Big version with a hash brown to a Mega version with a beef patty, double bacon and double cheese. Toasties (cheese, ham and cheese, ham cheese and tomato) are listed as not available on delivery, hash browns are sold on their own, and the sweet option is French Toast Fingers with maple flavoured syrup, four or six.

Nuggets are made with 100% chicken breast, cooked in sunflower and canola oil according to the site, and sold in 3, 6, 12 and 18 with a choice of aioli, BBQ, Spicy or Sweet ‘n Sour sauce.

Penny Pinchers, Hunger Tamers, Super Stunners and the app deals
This is where the dollar signs live. Penny Pinchers is the site’s everyday value list: six tiles on the check date, of which three carry a price in their description. Small Thick Cut Chips are A$2 (~$1.39), the Chicken Royale is A$3.75 (~$2.60) “for a limited time only”, and the 6 Nuggets & Large Chips Snack Box is A$4.95 (~$3.44). The BBQ Cheeseburger, the Cheesy Cheeseburger and Large Frozen Drinks sit on the same list with no figure shown. The page’s own caveats: participating restaurants only, and delivery, airport and Karratha pricing varies.
The bundles have house names. Hunger Tamers is the big meal: a headline burger plus a BBQ Cheeseburger, medium chips, three nuggets and a medium Coke, built around the Whopper Cheese, Big Jack, Cowboy Whopper, Cheese Lovers Whopper or Bacon Deluxe; the Jack’s Fried Chicken and Grilled Chicken Bacon & Cheese versions swap the BBQ Cheeseburger for a Chicken Royale. Super Stunner is the smaller meal, with small chips, a small Coke, three nuggets and a Peters Drumstick Mini ice cream alongside a Cheeseburger, Double or Triple Cheeseburger or Chicken Royale, and the site marks the Cheeseburger and Double Cheeseburger versions not available on delivery. Family Bundles and a Mega Feast Bundle feed a table. Kid’s Packs pair a hamburger, cheeseburger or nuggets with a kids side salad (or small chips with the cheeseburger and nuggets), a drink and a toy, which the hamburger pack’s page calls randomly selected. None of these bundles shows a price on the site.
Jack’s App Deals are the other priced list, and the page says they’re app pickup only. On the check date: a A$2.50 (~$1.74) small coffee, a A$3.50 (~$2.43) medium iced coffee, A$3 (~$2.08) medium onion rings, a A$4 (~$2.78) Bacon & Egg Turkish Brekky Roll, a A$5 (~$3.47) Sausage & Egg Turkish Roll, a A$7.95 (~$5.52) Courtside Combo and two Classic Jack’s Fried Chicken burgers for A$16 (~$11). The site tags the last two limited time.

Storms, sticky date pudding, spiders and Jack’d Up Drinks
Storm is the house word for soft serve made with a mix-in: Oreo, Biscoff, Cadbury Flake and now Pistachio Papi. Sundaes come in chocolate, caramel and strawberry, the Soft Serve Cone is the plain option, and the one dessert that isn’t ice cream is a warm Sticky Date Pudding with a caramel centre.
In the drinks fridge, the frozen range is Frozen Coke, Frozen Fanta Raspberry, Grape and Strawberry and a Frozen Keri Orange & Mango the site calls exclusive to Hungry Jack’s, and every one of them doubles as a Spider with soft serve on top. Shakes are chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, caramel, Biscoff and the new Pistachio Papi. Jack’d Up Drinks is a four-flavour soda range (Dirty Cola, Strawberry Dream, Blue Lagoon, Mango Breeze) sold in medium only, the last three each with or without creamer, and every page in it says for a limited time, while stocks last at participating restaurants.

Jack’s Cafe
Jack’s Cafe is the barista coffee range, sold at what the site calls Jack’s Cafe restaurants, and its menu reads like any Australian cafe’s: flat white, latte, cappuccino, long black, short black, piccolo, macchiato and mocha, plus chai and dirty chai lattes, hot chocolate, Dilmah tea and a miniccino for kids. The iced list has an iced coffee topped with cream and a dusting of chocolate, an iced long black, a Caramel Fudge Iced Coffee, iced chocolate, iced mocha and iced chai. The site says the beans are locally roasted and that the blend won gold at the Golden Bean roasting competition, and every coffee can be made with full cream, skim, soy, almond, oat or lactose-free milk. A few pages note availability: the piccolo, macchiato and short black are at selected Jack’s Cafe restaurants only and not on delivery.
The loyalty deal is on the Jack’s Cafe page: buy four coffees through the app or by scanning the digital loyalty card and the fifth is free, redeemable on pickup only. The app also prices a small coffee at A$2.50 (~$1.74) and a medium iced coffee at A$3.50 (~$2.43).

FAQ
Is Hungry Jack’s the same as Burger King?
Yes, in the words the company uses: Hungry Jack’s is the Burger King franchise in Australia. Its About page is titled “Hungry Jack’s - The Burger King Franchise In Australia” and describes Hungry Jack’s as the master Australian franchise of the Burger King Corporation, and the homepage’s structured data lists Burger King as its alternate name. The same page says founder Jack Cowin opened the first restaurant in Innaloo, Perth, in 1971 and calls the company proudly Aussie owned.
Does Hungry Jack’s publish prices online?
Not for the regular menu. Product pages on hungryjacks.com.au show a photo, a description and a kilojoule panel but no price, and the site’s FAQ says app pre-order prices match counter prices. The exceptions on October 4, 2026 were the Penny Pinchers list (small chips A$2, ~$1.39, Chicken Royale A$3.75, ~$2.60, 6 Nuggets & Large Chips Snack Box A$4.95 (~$3.44), participating restaurants only) and the Jack’s App Deals, from a A$2.50 (~$1.74) small coffee to A$16 (~$11) for two Classic Jack’s Fried Chicken burgers, pickup only through the app.
What’s new at Hungry Jack’s right now?
On October 4, 2026 the What’s New page led with the Cheese Lovers Whopper and its Double, the Big Jack in standard, Double and Angus versions, Pistachio Papi Storm and Shake, Eggs Benny Brekky Roll and Wrap, Frozen Fanta Grape and Strawberry with Spider versions, the NBL Slam Dunk Pack, the Cheesy Cheeseburger and the 6 Nuggets & Large Chips Snack Box. The page says these are around “for a short time only” and gives no end dates.
What is a Big Jack?
Hungry Jack’s describes it as two flame-grilled 100% Aussie beef patties with melted cheese, special sauce, fresh lettuce, pickles and onions on a toasted sesame seed bun, 2334 kJ. A Double Big Jack has four patties and the Big Jack Angus uses two thick Angus patties. All three were on the What’s New page on October 4, 2026, each with a Hunger Tamers bundle.
Does Hungry Jack’s list kilojoules?
Yes. Nearly every product page has a nutrition panel with energy in kJ and a percentage of daily intake, plus protein, fat, saturated fat, carbs, sugars and sodium. A Whopper is 2437 kJ, a Whopper Junior 1228 kJ, a Cheese Lovers Whopper 3540 kJ and a Classic Jack’s Fried Chicken 2843 kJ. Most pages don’t say which size the figure is for, and the site’s FAQ says customised orders aren’t rated.
What time does Hungry Jack’s serve breakfast?
The breakfast menu is available before 11am. The site’s FAQ says most stores serve it from 5am to 11am and some from 6am, and that main menu items are available all day. The brekky range is Turkish rolls, Jack’s Brekky Roll on brioche, BBQ Brekky Wraps in three sizes, toasties, hash browns and French Toast Fingers.
What is a Storm at Hungry Jack’s?
A Storm is Hungry Jack’s soft-serve dessert made with a mix-in. The list on October 4, 2026 was Storm OREO (1758 kJ), Biscoff Storm, Storm Cadbury Flake and the new Pistachio Papi Storm, which layers vanilla soft serve with cookie crumb and pistachio sauce.
Does Hungry Jack’s have a vegetarian Whopper?
Two. The Veggie Whopper Cheese uses a patty of corn, capsicum and carrot (2277 kJ), and the Plant Based Whopper uses a flame-grilled patty made from plants (2317 kJ); the Veggie also comes in Double and Angry versions, the Plant Based with cheese or as an Angry version. The site marks all of them not suitable for vegans.
