How pricing really works here

Skip the menu board; the price is in the app. McDonald’s China runs one of the world’s most aggressive coupon economies: the 1+1随心配 deal (pick one item from each of two columns for CN¥13 (~$1.93).9, about $2) is a national institution and the anchor of the internet’s beloved “poor man’s meal” (穷鬼套餐) genre; member combos price full meals from around CN¥34 (~$5.06).9; and list prices — which rose CN¥0.5-1 in December 2025, Big Mac included — function mostly as the number coupons discount from. Order through the app or the in-store kiosk with WeChat/Alipay, never at list, like everyone around you.

One absence worth naming: the bone-in fried chicken line (麦麦脆汁鸡) that McDonald’s China pushes hard in stores and the app doesn’t appear on the website menu as of this check; treat the app as the fuller catalog.
