The long black is the standard black coffee order in New Zealand and Australian cafes, and Starbucks New Zealand puts it first in its Hot Coffees row, ahead of the Latte. The site's description has the espresso shots poured over hot water, for a drinker who wants a stronger aroma and taste. An Americano sits on the same list as a separate drink, described the other way round, with the hot water going on top of the shots. Short to Venti. There's no Long Black in our Starbucks Australia harvest from September 20, 2026.
