The item KFC Taiwan is known for, and one of the three products the homepage's brand copy singles out: a Portuguese-style egg tart whose pastry, the site says, runs to as many as 163 layers. NT$49 a tart on the pickup menu and NT$50 on delivery. The site builds the tart into most of its sets: XL meals include one and can add a second for NT$1, and the sharing meals carry four or six.
